No, not in that way….but this is supposed to be a fitness type blog. Just humor me.
This fall, both of my children stepped into a new phase of life. My 5 year old daughter started kindergarten, and my 18 year old son moved into his college dorm. For weeks now I have been in this weird waiting mode…waiting to go get in the car rider line, waiting for the weeked when Andrew comes home. Waiting and not really doing anything. I can’t seem to get too involved in something. I have to get ready to get in the car rider line.
But something has finally snapped in me, and for whatever reason, maybe because we started a new series at church called “Baggage”, I thought it would be a good idea to start cleaning out all our closets! It was overwhelming at first, but I admit, once I got into it, it really was liberating! Of course, I started with my son’s closet. He will freak when he comes home.
Lauren is so excited now that her closet is a new place for hide and seek.
Jeff is a nervous man as he treasures so many things that I would LOVE to purge. Pray for him. Don’t worry, I will respect his request to not mess with his stuff.
So what are you hanging onto that probably needs purging?
